HAVASU SANDS RESORT, Lake Havasu City – A Smart Stay in the City

I found this hotel to be a cozy little spot, more like a small apartment with two beds and kitchen facilities. The mattresses were oddly laid up against the wall, but overall, it was a comfortable stay. Although the price was reasonable, it felt more like a budget option.

The hotel had a unique charm but fell short in cleanliness and overall appeal. The rooms were small and old yet surprisingly clean. The service was friendly but lacked certain essential amenities. Being close to Lake Havasu offered a convenient location, despite some minor inconveniences. Dining options were limited, and facilities were average.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main street with a variety of restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, though a bit cramped in the living room/kitchenette area. The service provided was exceptional with friendly and accommodating staff offering extra sheets for the sofa. The location is perfect for those wanting to experience the night life in Havasu and visit attractions like The London Bridge. On the downside, the bathroom cleanliness was lacking, with poorly maintained tubs. Overall, a good choice for those looking for a lively area to stay.

The hotel offers apartments with separate living rooms from the bedrooms; however, they encountered issues with drug users and a persistent bad smell throughout the property. The noise level from other guests was also high, impacting the overall stay.

The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the downtown area and accessing the nearby bars and restaurants. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the stay pleasant overall. However, the room I stayed in was not as clean as I expected, with some maintenance issues present.

The hotel rooms with 2 beds are in need of updating, featuring broken/loose tiles in the bathroom. The location is great, about a block to bar row and the staff is very friendly. However, the room looked outdated, like something from the 60's, and was located in a corner of the building that smelled like urine and cigarettes.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The location was excellent, just steps away from the vibrant bar row and The London Bridge, making it convenient to explore the area. However, the rooms were a bit disappointing, feeling more like small apartments than a cozy motel, and the darkness required keeping the lights on even during the day. Despite this, the friendly service and extra touches provided by the staff made the experience better.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room with a kitchenette had a lizard that scared my girls, but having an efficiency-type room with a living room was a plus. Unfortunately, the rooms were super dirty, making me feel like I would have been better off staying in a porta potty.
